Hot-vulcanised round cord rings are made from extruded round cord. After measuring to the required dimensions, the joint is cut and hot vulcanised.
Thanks to special vulcanisation mixtures suitable for the material in question, the vulcanisation point has almost the same chemical and thermal resistance as the elastomers used. Round cord rings are therefore a cost-effective and readily available solution for static applications instead of moulded rings. The advantage lies in the production of almost any desired dimension without incurring moulding costs, even for very small quantities. Round cord rings are also characterised by their good price-performance ratio.
